βYe shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I [am] the LORD.β
βFor whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit [them] shall be cut off from among their people.β
βTherefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that [ye] commit not [any one] of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I [am] the LORD your God.β
βFor by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.β
βΒΆ It is reported commonly [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.β
βAnd Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram [were] an hundred and thirty and seven years.β
βA man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.β

βGo and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in:β
βFor I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from [one] tabernacle [to another].β
βWheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?β
βNow therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, [even] from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel:β
βAnd I have been with thee whithersoever thou hast walked, and have cut off all thine enemies from before thee, and have made thee a name like the name of the great men that [are] in the earth.β
