“And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought [him] into Damascus.”

“And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.”

“And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.”

“¶ The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from [being] a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.”

“Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:”

“In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: [but] the harvest [shall be] a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.”

“Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.”

“The cities of Aroer [are] forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make [them] afraid.”
