βBut the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.β
βΒΆ And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.β
βHe that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.β
βΒΆ Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.β

βWhosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.]β

βI write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him [that is] from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.β
βAnd this is the promise that he hath promised us, [even] eternal life.β
βThou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbour's.β

βWho knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.β
βWithout understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:β
βΒΆ For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,β
βLust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.β
βAnd, behold, there met him a woman [with] the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.β
βΒΆ Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing [as] they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:β
βTherefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.β
