βAlso he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;β
βAnd the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first [day] of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.β
βΒΆ And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:β
βΒΆ And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.β
βOf fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.β
βThe voice of thy thunder [was] in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.β
βFor yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.β
βThe waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.β
βThe clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad.β
