“All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

“Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.”

“Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.”

“An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.”

“And he said unto him, ‹Why callest thou me good?› [there is] ‹none good but one,› [that is], ‹God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.›”

“¶ And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.”

“And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, [even] ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.”
