“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

“¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

“The rich [man] had exceeding many flocks and herds:”

“And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.”

“And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, [As] the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this [thing] shall surely die:”

“And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.”

“The LORD [is] good to all: and his tender mercies [are] over all his works.”

“Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.”

“¶ But now [they that are] younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.”
