βAnd thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy [place] and the most holy.β
βAnd after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;β
βNevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.β
βAnd the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.β
βAnd the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy [place] within the vail before the mercy seat, which [is] upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.β
βThe watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.β
βAnd not as Moses, [which] put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:β
βBut their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which [vail] is done away in Christ.β
βBut even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.β
βAnd [till] Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.β
βAnd he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.β
βBut when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel [that] which he was commanded.β
βAnd the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.β
βΒΆ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.β
