โBut as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. Don't even eat with such a person.โ
โI tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.โ
โIf anyone comes to you, and doesn't bring this teaching, don't receive him into your house, and don't welcome him,โ
โfor he who welcomes him participates in his evil works.โ
โ"Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn't leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it?โ
โWhen he has found it, he carries it on his shoulders, rejoicing.โ
โWhen he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'โ

โHe said to them, "You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn't call any man unholy or unclean.โ

โIf any man doesn't obey our word in this letter, note that man, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.โ

โIt is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father's wife.โ
โyet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then you would have to leave the world.โ
โYour boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?โ
โare to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.โ
โYou are puffed up, and didn't rather mourn, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.โ
โFor I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.โ
