โElisha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me: what do you have in the house?" She said, "Your handmaid has nothing in the house, except a pot of oil."โ
โSo she went from him, and shut the door on her and on her sons; they brought the containers to her, and she poured out.โ
โIt happened, when the containers were full, that she said to her son, "Bring me another container." He said to her, "There isn't another container." The oil stopped flowing.โ
โThen she came and told the man of God. He said, "Go, sell the oil, and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest."โ
โArise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.โ
โThen I went down to the potter's house, and behold, he was making a work on the wheels.โ
โThen the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,โ
โNow in a large house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of clay. Some are for honor, and some for dishonor.โ
โThe word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,โ
โ"No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container, or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.โ
