Bible Verses for Grief & Loss
World English Bible

The Bible speaks honestly about sorrow and mourning โ Jesus himself wept at the death of Lazarus (John 11:35). These verses offer comfort and the assurance that God draws near to the brokenhearted.
Scripture reminds us that grief is not a sign of weak faith, but a natural human response that God understands and honors.
